A firewall and connectivity refresh supported an Australian fresh-produce wholesaler’s move away from legacy on-site infrastructure and towards its cloud-hosted business system.
Delivery: Agile MSP technical delivery through F3EE, coordinating with the customer’s specialist software provider.
The challenge
The wholesaler needed its office network to support a cloud-hosted market application while retaining the practical functions its team relied on. The transition required coordination between the business, its technology delivery team and its specialist application provider.
Our approach
Working through F3EE, Agile MSP coordinated the network changes with the specialist provider, which had completed the application migration. The team installed a new firewall, cut over to 5G internet and disconnected the legacy server. Follow-up support coordinated checks on application access and the printing connection, with further advice on existing telecommunications services.
The outcome
The office was operating on the new 5G connection, and the customer’s office team subsequently reported that it was working well. The legacy server was no longer required for the migrated application, giving the business a simpler local setup supported by coordinated technical assistance.
Customer perspective — Office team
Following the change, the office team confirmed that it was running on 5G and that the connection appeared to be working well.
